The following information is designed to help you choose the best option for your printing needs. If you are not sure what to do, print this page out, and download and copy the main two files (marked with **) and put on Cdrom and take it all to a photocopy shop or reasonably priced print shop.
The whole project is divided into two parts. The First Option is a 28 page A5 booklet printed on double sided A4 sheets, as a folded booklet layout. The Second Option can produce the same result, but starts out as an A5 PDF, just "one page after the other" (which can be sensibly read on screen), a format that some photocopy shops prefer to use to make folding A4 booklets.
What ever options you use, what you should end up with is a folded 28 page A5 fronted booklet, that can be stapled along it's spine when folded down from A4.
In both options the booklet is presented in acrobat reader's Pdf format "print ready".
If your computer does not know what to do with these files once you have downloaded them, go to Adobe.com and download the FREE Acrobat Reader programme.
In these Pdfs, the booklet will not always read properly on screen, and must be printed double sided, and folded first.
To read this booklet in web format (MS IE6) on screen, please view here: Paradise for Free!
If you are printing it yourself on a computer printer, remember to keep the heads (tops) of the pages at the same place, tumbling them sideways when you put the second side back in to print. This will make the pages readable right way up on both sides of the paper.
 :
Only side one of sheet one is in colour (that is pages 1 and 28 of the folded finished A5 booklet format).
Pages 2 and 27 (side two of the first A4 sheet one) is black and white only, but may need to be printed at the same time as the other side of this sheet, which as explained above is in colour.
There are two copies of this file available. The first is optimized to make it smaller, and quicker to download. This optimization sometimes changes some of the colours on the front page. (If possible, on a good internet connection, please use the second file marked ** which takes longer to download.)

Notes for Printing Double Sided A4 Sheets Manually, on a "non-Duplexing" Printer
If you want to print out from a computer, then follow these steps (if you do not know that your printer can handle "Duplex" double sided printing automatically duplexing printer can automatically double side your paper for you).
Print these instructions out if they will help you.
- Take all the paper out of your printer leaving only one sheet.
- Tell Acrobat Reader to print the booklet.
- When the first page has printed and dried, manually put it back into the printer to print the next page (second side).
When putting the pages back through for the printing of the other side, make sure that the "heads" — tops of the pages will be the same for both sides. So that if you tumble the page sideways when printed, it will read upright, and one side of the page will NOT be upside down.
You may need to experiment to find out how your printer wants the paper put back in for the second side to be printed. If you have a printer manual look it up, it is sometimes installed onto your computer if it didn't come in the box.
- When ready to print each side, you may need to get your printer to 'Resume', as each time it runs out of paper it will anticipate that an error has happened.
- As each piece of A4 paper is printed both sides, place them down on a clean surface on top of each other in a pile. Put them down the same way up as the second side came out of the printer.
- Repeat the process with a new sheet of paper and keep doing it until the print job is done.
- After placing the last sheet on the pile, you should be looking at the middle of the booklet. Fold this in half sideways to make an A5 (148mm wide by 210mm tall) booklet. Then put staples through the middle fold.
If you are not sure, then consider burning the file to a Cdrom and taking it to a photocopy shop but get a quote on the job price first!
